Security blanket

Following the feedback received on monday, we decided to think again about what our idea is and the medium we are going to be using. We are very interested in preserving important memories by stitching them onto fabric and making them last longer.

We thought again about what the outcome could be with this. Important memories can be either good or bad, so we thought that this could be conveyed through either black on black or white on white stitching. Then we thought about how people always hang on to good memories. You always try to remember something positive from your past when you are feeling down, because positive memories keep you warm and safe. Therefore, we thought it would be interesting to try and create a blanket with good memories sewn into the fabric.

blankets often favored by small children.
